You’re on your couch. You’ve got your phone. There was a time when the most exciting thing you could do in this scenario was have a pizza delivered. That’s no longer the case. There’s an app for just about everything, and transactions of all types are happening with a few clicks and swipes. Isn’t it time the pawn industry upped its game and joined in on the mCommerce revolution?

Initiate a Loan

Well, Bravo has done it. Now, not only will your customers be able to shop your pawnshop via the Bravo MobilePawn app as they’ve done in the past, but they will also be able to initiate a loan from home. And what’s better, you’ll be able to respond to it from home too!

This new feature is simple to use:

  1. Customer’s will open the app and select the MobilePawn button. Three options will appear: Sell Item, Get a Loan, and My Items.
  2. To start a loan, they will click Get a Loan.
  3. They can then upload up to five pictures of the item from the camera roll or snap the photos right there while in the app.
  4. Next, they give the item a title. To help your customers out, the app will even provide suggestions for the title based on common model types.
  5. Then they can add a quick description, like condition, what might make it unique, or anything else that is relevant to the transaction.
  6. Next, they can specify a price. If it’s a common model, the app will give suggested prices based on the item’s condition.
  7. Finally, they can select the items category, like cameras or cell phones for example, and add their zip code and your customer’s loan has been initiated!

So what happens next? You’ll receive the lead in your Bravo Shopkeeper app where you are able to accept, reject, or discuss the item further. If you need more information, you can message the customer and they will get a notification on their MobilePawn app. The customer can then reply back until you both feel good about the loan. Once you accept the item, your customer will bring the item to the store to complete the transaction.
