If you’ve stopped by the Bravo booth at one of the Pawn Conventions, you’ve most likely ran into and met Tally Mack, our VP of Business Development. She has been a predominant face of the Bravo business practically since day one and works diligently to build and grow the Bravo brand everyday. She would like you to get to know her more so I’m turning it over to her…

tallyCareer Aspirations

My aspirations career wise is to continue building and growing Bravo – to provide unparalleled features, support, and service for pawnbrokers. But I don’t want to stop at just Bravo, I also aspire to see Buya thrive and compete with the likes of eBay, Amazon, and other huge eCom marketplaces.

Education

I went to the University of Colorado Boulder and earned a degree in Communications. I left Boulder for Chicago, where I went to DePaul University College of Law and earned my J.D. After graduation from law school, I attended Harvard Business School KEY Executives Program, a two-week intensive business program focusing on entrepreneurship, finance, customer service, and human resources. I’ve also recently earned credentials from Google Adwords and Hubspot Inbound Sales too.

Pawn Background

I’m obsessed with retail. I started working at SuperPawn at the ripe old age of 9 selling gold chains and wrapping presents during the holidays. In high school and college I worked for a clothing boutique, where I launched their eCom website and traveled to Los Angeles to buy for their two stores. My senior year of college I began doing research and development for Bravo, collecting the name, address, phone, and email address of every pawnshop in the United States. I have been with Bravo for 4 years now, beginning in Sales at the end of law school.

What I Do

As Vice President of Business Development I oversee our Sales & Marketing team, and lend a hand wherever I can be most helpful. I work with Margo to excite the pawn industry about the best software on the market. I work with Marko and our Sales Team to help pawnbrokers make the transition to Bravo. I also work with the entire team to make Bravo the best it can be and to exceed our customers’ expectations. Outside of Bravo

I love the outdoors and traveling. If I’m not working, you can find me exploring new neighborhoods, restaurants, hikes, and coffee shops. I’m usually training for a race of some sort, I’m not very good but I enjoy the competition. I’m obsessed with Acai bowls – it’s a smoothie with fruit and granola on top (take my advice on this one).
